Nurses Clinics

Since we completed our refurbishments, our qualified nursing team have been able to take full advantage of having their own consulting room.

We have set up clinics at various times, both morning and afternoons during the week and on some Saturdays each month.

A range of advice clinics and services are available including:

• Adolescent checks - check up for your pet at 6 months of age to discuss training, feeding, what normal behaviours to expect and general preventative health care.

• Senior pet checks -a check up for pets over 8 years of age to discuss preventative healthcare appropriate to ageing pets and also includes discussion of available routine monitoring tests.

• Dental check ups - monitoring your pets dental health and advice on caring for your pets teeth.

• Pet Weight Watchers - for those pets needing to watch their weight, advice, tips and support.

The above consultations are all FREE of charge. Costs of further tests or treatment if required will be discussed during the consultation.

Our nurses also carry out:

• Suture removal and Post op Checks
• Administration of oral medications eg worming tablets
• Repeat injections during a course of certain medications
• Flea and Worm Checks
